Meeting notes in Obsidian
Pauta turns each recording into a note in your Obsidian vault, organized by project. When you edit the recording in Pauta, the note stays up to date.
Step by step
- Record the meeting in Pauta, on macOS or Windows.
- Turn on the Obsidian sync in Pauta and choose the vault where the notes should go.
- The note appears in the project folder, with project, duration and tags, and the transcript under the Transcription heading.
- Edit the recording in Pauta and the note updates.
What you get
- Meetings land in the same vault where you keep everything else, within reach of Obsidian links and search.
- Pauta's project organization becomes a folder in the vault.
- Nothing goes through a Pauta server. The file is written straight to your computer.
Limits
- Pauta updates the note when you edit the recording in it. To keep note and recording aligned, make your edits in Pauta.
- Obsidian does not come with Pauta. You need the app and a vault.
